DetailsPerkalaba is a Ukrainian band from Ivano-Frankivsk playing music combining elements of hutsul-folk, ska and punk rock.
It’s their freaky show, the charismatic singer and their joy of playing what fascinates the audience even at extended two and a half hours gigs. Moreover, the band is always full of nonsense, so spontaneous unplugged sessions at all imaginable places are one of their peculiarities

DetailsKozak System is a “Kozak-Rock” style show, a powerful musical formation with its own unique look. It is a synthesis of Ukrainian and Balkan music, along with rock, pank and ska, which present an energy of lyrics and an explosion of every instrument. A Kozak System concert is an instantaneous dialogue with the audience, incredible dancing, intoxicating solos and stage scenes that cannot be replicated.

DetailsBraty Hadiukiny is a Ukrainian rock band from Lviv, one of the most successful Ukrainian bands of Soviet times. The band’s musical style combines different genres such as rock’n’roll, blues, punk, reggae, funk and folk. Ironic song lyrics contain a lot of local vernacularisms, slang and surzhyk.

DetailsTik Tu is an indiepop band brings an eclectic mix of electronic and live sound, using samplers, flute, violin, drums and guitars during live performances. Nataly give a delicate vocal performance with lyrics in English, Ukrainian and Lithuanian. The band is recording their music in an abandoned village, far from the city noise.
Today band makes a lot of gigs in Ukraine, Poland, Moldavia, and works with an American label Moon Sound Records.

His charismatic vocal and distinctive sound lead him to be named one of the top ukrainian producers. His music is clearly taking benefits from advancements in music technology, especially electronic musical instruments, synthesizers, music sequencers and drum machines.
Cepasa’s music is already known far from Ukraine’s borders. British and american music blogs call Cepasa «an incredibly interesting and talented artist». The tracks with his voice are played on BBC Radio 1. And the worldwide-known sample production company signed Cepasa to release the artist sample pack which has been reviewed by Dj Mag UK.

THE ERISED

DetailsUkrainian six-piece,The Erised, unveil their first EP, due for release early 2015, via forward-thinking, South London based label Med School.
The band creates elegant electronic timbres led by frontwoman Sonya Sukorukova, whose sublime vocals drive her own pop-oriented solo project Sonya and here deliver the emotive narrative of the music in powerful and absorbing fashion. The band also features two Med School favourites; Detail and Hidden Element, who have both previously featured in the label’s renowned ‘New Blood’ compilations.

DetailsSubcarpați is a Romanian hip-hop band from Bucharest. Formed in 2010 by MC Bean, the band blends hip-hop with elements from Romanian folk music. The genre seeks to reinterpret popular motifs specific to Romanian’s folk music, and is often referred to as “underground folklore”.
The project had brought together various artists: Vali Umbră, Argatu’, Georgiana Mănăilă, Dragonu’, and other collaborators.
The British newspaper The Guardian described Subcarpați as being “an explosive mixture of old and new. It’s an eclectic combination that brings together melancholy Romanian folk songs, Romanian unity songs, traditional instruments and the rhythms of trip-hop, dubstep, hip-hop and dancehall.
